Good Hope Baptist Church is a warm and welcoming rural congregation that enjoys sharing the Gospel of Jesus with visitors. We praise God with a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary gospel music. You will hear expository preaching of the inerrant Word of God. Many of the congregants enjoy visiting with one another before and after Sunday Worship.
Bible Study
Bible study is viewed as an essential discipline for Christians to mature in their faith and deepen their spiritual journey with Christ. Therefore, attending a Sunday School teaching or a Wednesday evening Bible study is strongly encouraged for members and visitors.
Fellowship & Family
Hospitality and unity are important elements for our church family. These elements are encouraged and provided through expository preaching and family meals in Christ.
Membership
GHBC believes in baptism by immersion as the standard for obedience to Christ's commission and requires it for membership. If you have been baptized by immersion, you are welcome to proclaim a desire to transfer your membership. After proclaiming a desire to join our church, a 30-day grace period will follow, which includes a meeting with the Pastor and completion of the membership class. The membership process ensures the church's and your beliefs align to promote a strong church family through unity.
