Plan Your Visit

We’re glad you’re considering worshiping with us

Visiting a church for the first time can feel uncertain. We hope to make your visit to Good Hope Baptist Church simple, welcoming, and centered on Christ. Whether you are exploring Christianity, returning to church, or visiting the Truman Lake area, we would be honored to worship with you.

What to Expect

Christ-Centered Worship

Our worship gatherings are focused on glorifying God through the faithful preaching of His Word, prayer, congregational singing, and the ordinances Christ has given to His church. We aim for reverent, joyful worship that points hearts to Jesus Christ rather than to ourselves.

You can expect a worship service that is biblical, intentional, and rooted in Scripture.

Bible-Centered Preaching

The Bible is central to everything we do. Our sermons are expositional, meaning we teach through passages of Scripture to understand God’s truth clearly and apply it faithfully to everyday life.

We believe God speaks through His Word, and we desire to preach it with clarity, conviction, and compassion.

A Welcoming Church Family

Good Hope Baptist Church is a warm and loving congregation made up of people from many walks of life. You will be greeted with kindness, not pressure. No one will single you out or ask you to do anything you’re uncomfortable with.

Come as you are. We are simply glad you’re here.

What Should I Wear?

There is no dress code. Some attend in casual clothing, others dress more traditionally. We encourage you to wear what is comfortable and appropriate for worship.

What About My Family?

Children

We value families and love having children in our services. We also provide age-appropriate opportunities for children to learn God’s Word in a safe and caring environment. If you have questions about children’s classes or nursery care, we would be happy to help when you arrive.

Youth & Adults

We offer teaching and fellowship opportunities for all ages, designed to encourage spiritual growth and meaningful relationships within the church body.
